Chocolate Fountain Instructions

CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN INSTRUCTIONS

Place the bowl on a flat surface. Keep anything from bottom of base to ensure heat displacement.

Place the auger (spiral coil) into centre of base.

Place the tower sleeve over the auger and twist into place.  (make sure to twist counter clockwise.)

Place the top piece on top of tower sleeve.

Connect the power cord.

Turn machine temperature to 110 degrees and let heat up for ten minutes.

Melt chocolate chips or wafers in microwave, add desired cream and/or liqueur. (check online for specific recipes)

Pour prepared chocolate into bowl and reduce heat to 80 degrees.

The bowl will hold up to 5kg of chocolate so when you start to run out, prep more and pour in.

If food drops in, retrieve quickly before it can block motor

*Don’t use metal utensils to dip in fondue as it will scratch. Use wooden skewers or plastic.

 

CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN CLEANING

Turn off the motor and heating switch.

Disconnect power cord and wipe down any chocolate on it with a damp, cloth.

Pour out excess chocolate from bowl.

Remove tower (by twisting clockwise) and auger (lift upward).

Wipe down bowl, auger, base with warm, damp cloth

*do not submerge bowl or base

Rinse out tower by running under tap

Let dry before placing back in box
